Women's History Month Celebration

"Working Hard to Form a More Perfect Union"

Lake County Women Who Made History

All Coalition organization members and their guests are invited to attend the Annual Brunch to be held at Bonnie Brook Golf Course, 2800 N. Lewis Avenue, Waukegan. Registration begins at 8:45 a.m. Cost is $20. (Tables of 8, open seating)

The theme this year is Working Hard to Form a More Perfect Union: Honoring Women in Public Service and Government.

Our keynote speaker is Annette Baldwin who, in portraying Jane Addams, exhibits the distinguished humanitarian’s warmth, strength of character, and her extraordinary ability to effect social change in America. Addams’ struggle to find a meaningful purpose is illuminated, and as the story progresses, we discover some of the experiences which helped Addams find the direction she longed for.

The Women's History Month celebration is important to the mission of the Lake County Women's Coalition as it is our only fundraiser for the year to support our Scholarship fund. The scholarship awardees will be invited to attend.
